Welcome to HeadQuarters Studio!

HeadQuarters aims to provide access to independent film, contemporary performance, music/sound and creative photography through screenings, training/workshops, exhibitions, editing and live performance events for local people, community groups and artists in the City of West Torrens; in addition, we aim to co-produce innovative and high-impact projects developing social awareness of film culture, visual and performing arts in the local community.

HeadQuarters is made up of 8 active independent film, media production, sound/composition, live performance, visual art, writing/research and photographic artists who focus on innovation and experimentation by following these core objectives:

» Developing models of independent filmmaking, photographic and live performance production
» Building audience/participant bases in the local community
» Linking artists, arts organizations and local communities in City of West Torrens
» Supporting local artists and groups by screening, collaborating with or presenting their work in a public event
» Nurturing and developing new forms of visual, sonic, textual, cinematic and live performance art practice
